What is Gender-Sensitive Project Design?

Gender-sensitive project design is the systematic integration of gender analysis into all stages of the project cycle—design, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation—to ensure that the different needs, roles, and impacts on women, men, girls, and boys are fully considered in development interventions.
